Smile Rocking Lion for my daughter's 2nd B-day

Just wanted to show what I made for my little girl as a present.
She turned 2 this Sunday and was very happy indeed, so all the hard effort was definately worth it :-)
It's made of American White Oak and Ovangkol.

    Too Cool....

    Niels,

That's just terrific! Your own design, or did you use a pattern? I'll bet you thrilled a little girl's heart and made her "day on a jungle ride" that of a princess.

I found plans for a Rocking Elephant which I built last year for my grandson. This one was modified (obviously :-)) with head design by me, inspired by a cartoon lion I found on the net.
Yup, I sure made her day - and mine :-)

I love it Neils... I am sure your daughter was thrilled with daddies gift and I have a feeling "mommy" wasn't dis-pleased.
