Looking for a Rockwell part # 43-821 3/4" dia long shaper cartridge.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

Check with Delta to see if they still have that part. If it's from the HD shaper than it's probably the same spindle still being used today. If they don't have it then check with the guys over at OWWM, (I'm assuming it's an older one if it needs to be replaced) and you may get lucky and find someone with one.
    good luck,

    shaper cart.

    Thanks Jeff,
Delta has quit making them (some time ago) and no longer has stock. It's kind of a specialized unit, so they didn't make many.
I'm trying to avoid having one made from my existing one...

Try calling Jim Austin at Holly Wood Equipment (in Holly, Michigan), he has an amazing inventory of parts for old equipment. He's kinda hard to get ahold of, but a good source for things like this. (248) 634-6234 or his cell from his b'card is (248) 342-4824 Good luck!

Another place that has a decent selection of parts is Plaza Machinery (plaza machinery.com), check them out. Otherwise it may be cheaper to buy a new (used) machine over having a new part made.

    good luck,
