    Removing Flocking adhesive

This morning I tried my first attempt with flocking. So far looks good, waiting till tomorrow to remove the excess.

Tonight I realized I must of hit the back of the box with the adhesive brush. I first applied 3 coats of lacquer to the box. I'm wondering if I can remove it with mineral spirits?

Nail polish remover will also remove/damage the lacquer...or just about any other finish material, for that matter.

Careful scraping of the errant adhesive to remove it and then carefully recoating the lacquer is probably the best bet.

The solvent for the flocking glue is Xylene. Use it to thin and/or removing unwanted spots. Won't harm the lacquer.
