    First Pens

    Trying to turning pens now. Here are some of the first ones.

    Experimenting with different thicknesses of wood on a slimline kit. Finish is friction polish.

    The blanks were unmarked, so maybe someone can identify the different wood types?

    Larger pics are in my album. I could not figure out how to make thumbnails appear on the post that would show full size from my photo album pics.

    Hoping to get a better photo booth setup for future pics.

    Those are some nice looking first pens. It will get easier and faster as you gain experience. Keep'em coming.
