I got me a passel of the stuff in the form of prefinished flooring left over from doing the kitchen. I also have a lot of prefinished 3/4 maple that I ended.

I'm thinking cutting boards.

I suppose I could mill it and laminate it for thicker stock and make a couple of bar stools.

I think you should do the whole set with the floor, barstools and cutting board. Then add a couple of coasters so there is at least one piece not covered by someone's feet, backside, or meal.

I had not seen that Astronium fraxinifolium before. That is some wild wood. You would have an Astronium fraxinifolium barstolium.
