    SketchUp

    Hey everyone,
    Check out SketchUp by Google
    http://sketchup.google.com/
It is a free download and it looks pretty interesting to me.
It is a 3D drawing program you can find it here http://sketchup.google.com/
I think it would be awesome for models of houses, doll houses and furniture,
    or just about anything.
    Have fun!

I used Sketchup a bit, helping a customer (art institute furniture design student) to convert them to a form that can be used to laser cut the parts. The problem is that it's 3d, and must be changed to 2d before Corel can use it to send to the laser. It's been a while and I don't remember how we did it.
Very interesting program, and as you said, great for designing.
