Dining Table - Design / Books

Can anyone recommend any good books or current plans for a dining table in a mission / shaker style

    Thanks Steve

    Steve,

Have you considered designing your own table? Both Mission and Shaker furniture have very clean lines. Unless you want to do something intricate, like removable leaves, you could probably just pick a couple photos of pieces you like and go for it. If you know how to use Google Scketchup (It's free), or you don't mind learning, you can post digital models in here for feedback. I'm sure you could even draw it out on a napkin and scan it in.

    Good luck.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Half Priced books on Bethel Rd. in Columbus had a few project books, including dining tables, the last time I looked.

I picked up a couple books today at Rocklers - I was just hoping to get a couple suggestions on books that other people have read

    Thanks
