jointer and planer for sale

Hello fellow creekers,

I am testing the waters here to see if there are any takers on my planer and jointer because i am thinking about getting a jointer/planer machine do to space issues in my workshop. So Before I make this purchase I am trying to see what the interest is in my machines first. Here goes...

I have a Delta 37-380 jointer 8" with a Byrd Shelix head installed. I also have a Powermatic 15" Planer, I have a Byrd Shelix head for it as well but I have not installed it yet.. I can install it if you would rather have it installed before whoever purchases it. I will post pictures of the jointer shortly.

Price for Jointer 800.00
Price for Planer 750.00 w/o byrd head - w/byrd head 1400.00

Thanks for your interest, PM me with any questions.

Jointer is 110, planer is 220 1PH. Also I am going to install the byrd head on the planer when i get back from out of town on tuesday. Also with that said I am leaving out of town today and won't be back till tueday night. I'll try to check on this ad while I am away but I may not be able every day so please be patient with my responses. Thanks again for looking.

BTW: Joiner is 1 1/2 HP, Planer is 3HP. Both work flawlessly.planer still looks brand new. Joiner is just dirty.. I'll clean it up and post some pics when i get back. Have a good weekend all.

Thomas, would you consider selling the Byrd head alone?

Sorry Russ but if I don't sell the machine I am going to use it in it. If it wasn't for the fact that i built my shop too small I wouldn't be selling it at all.

Well the option of buying the planer without the head is no longer .Not realy sure what I was thinking anyways seeing as I bought it for that planer and would have no use for it if I sell the planer. Just a update because i got a PM from someone who was thinking about buying the planer without it. Also the model # for the planer is 1791209.

But if you could work the deal with Russ buying the head by itself.....Jim.
