First sells on my bowls.

I've been selling game calls for over 3 years now, but I haven't sold any of my bowls till this week. I've worked as a flyfishing guide in the summer for over 20 years at a local Orvis store. The store just moved into a much larger building first of July and had some extra room, so they wanted some of my bowls to sell. I put around 12 of my bowls there and sold a very small HF for $65.00 2 days later. I thought that was cool but what happened yesterday was way way cool. Two of my bowls sold for a total of right at $900.00. One of the two was the oakburl HF I shown on the creek and the other one was a birch burl open form bowl. The stores take is 25% so it was great payday. I also had a fishing trip that I made over $300.00 on yesterday so it was a great day. I posted a picture of the birch burl bowl since it has been a while since I had it on the creek.

Doesn't it feel good when someone puts out their hard earned money for your product?

I just wished it happened more often!!

Congrats.

Thanks everyone, it is great to have someone like your work enough to buy it. I hope to sell enough this fall to buy a large bandsaw for my shop. It will finish off the large tools in my turning shop.
Thanks again,
Jack
