Salad bowl size
What diameter and depth makes a nicely functional salad bowl?

For a personal sized bowl, I like 8 to 10 inches and 3 or more inched deep. 12 inch bowl is small family or couple bowl, over 16 inches and 6 deep, is more of party sized bowl.

I prefer bigger bowls that are more shallow, more like 15"+ and like 4-5 inches deep. Really depends on how many your serving. If its a family of four that's probably way too big.

I like the small bowls to be 7 to 8 inches by 2 to 3 inches deep. The big bowls I have had orders from 12 to 15 inches by 4 to 6 inches deep.
