Need help with designing in corel 12
Hello everyone.
What I would like to do is design some Christmas ornaments and mini clocks in Corel 12 and then use them in Gravostyle 5 software on my Gravostyle LS100 40watt laser. I can do all vector cut without a problem I would like to make designs that have vector cuts as well as raster drawing within the project. For example a 3" round Christmas bulb with the word 2009 raster engraved in the middle. So I need the vector cut outside then the raster engraving in the middle. the way I do it now is design the vector in Corel 12 and then export as an AI file then add the text in gravostyle. I would like to find a one step process. Thanks if you can help. Jason |

Jason, How do you want the text positioned in the design?
Have you tried putting the text in with x2? If you want the text to match your design, use the "position text to shape". Jim

Like This
Draw circles and set to red (vector).
Add text (set to justify center) and set to black (Raster). Arrange-Align and Distribute-Horizontal. Move vertical where feels good or use position feature for vertical spacing. May want to realign horizontal to clean up Regards GDG |
