Walnut Natural Edge

This one came out 16'' across x 5 or so high. Antique oil finish. Its not a favorite of mine to turn but I do like the looks of walnut.

Just beautiful. Love the substantial look of the piece and the bark edge is great. The finish fits the piece well.

Beautiful bowl Mike! Love all that bark and the high contrast between heartwood and sapwood! Very nice work!

Also really like your photo - very dramatic lighting!

Beautiful job Mike as usual for you. Just curious as to why walnut isn't a favorite of yours. It's one of my favorites. Cuts easy and the aroma is nice too.

Now that is why I love walnut sapwood when many others don't! That is one beautiful piece!

Very nice Mike. Great job keeping the bark on. I just tried something similar, but smaller, the other night. I lost all the bark though
