A nice gloat

Got me a new DJ-20 to replace my 6" Ridgid. To me it's a small aircraft carrier.
I've not had much luck with Delta tools the last few years but decided to go with a Delta again over a General and King.
Out of the 2 crates the tables were flat and in line with each other and the fence was perfect.
Paint job isn't the greatest but if the above points are perfect it's a fabs item.
Great price too at $1499 Cdn -PLUS I get to choose $200 worth of tools or bessey clamps.

Dj-20

Very nice!!!! Did that price include the mobile base? Even if it didn't, that's still a good deal.

Congratulations on the new toy!!!!

Regards,

John

You chose that over a General? Wow! The Chinese General version you mean. I thought that the Canadian General was just about bullet proof from what I had read, and much more expensive than the Delta. Regardless, the parallelogram Delta, is a dynamite jointer and when everything comes out of the box letter perfect, that's a justifiable gloat. Enjoy!

Nice jointer, very nice price. A poor paint job, while pretty annoying when you just bought something new, is of no import after a few months.

Looks great.. Face joint some wood and report back.. You will love it..

The canuck made Jointer is 3x the money and does basically the same job..

Going from a 6" Ridgid to that will be a pleasant upgrade..
