Red Cedar project ideas? (I assume a cutting board is a no)

So I have about 50 board feet of red cedar that I haven't found a use for. It is VERY aromatic but I already built a cedar chest so I don't need it for that.

Any ideas?

I would love the color in a cutting board, but it seems much too soft for that..

On the simple end of the spectrum, how about birdhouses or salmon grilling planks?

Also, you could rip a couple thin strips to use as accent color on edges of a cutting board, I would think the softness wouldn't matter there. That won't do much to use up 50 bd feet, I admit.

closet insert?

I built my boys a closet insert out of red cedar - it is hardly the finest example of my work... large brittle panels with dadoes in them fit into a nowhere near square closet, but it looks nice and smells very nice as well. Do be careful with the boards, as I found that even a small shock to the board would cause a fracture (could be the grade of red cedar that I can get in the SF bay area too, I don't know)

Apple-smoked Bacon is popular-why not cedar-infused cheddar? Good Luck!

That's enough for a woodstrip canoe. This is mostly cedar:

I work with Eastern Red Cedar a lot. Just this summer I made a patio set (table and 4 armchairs) from it, an Adirondack chair and recently a child's rocker for the daughter of a friend. Some pics attached.

I've also made boxes, bird houses, bird feeders, signs and a patio chaise lounge from it. Eastern Red cedar is very weather resistant and works well for outside projects.
