Stanley #3C (3 of 3)
This is a corrugated #3 I believe to be type 16. Rosewood is solid, and I have stripped it and applied a couple coats of shellac and a bit of wax. The japanning is fair, and it appears to have been touched up with paint, although it does have a decent appearance. The blade has been ground to a 25* bevel, but needs to be honed. There is some slight pitting on the blade and the chipbreaker, but it does not affect the edge of the blade. The brass adjustment knob is small, and may not be original. However, this plane will make a very nice user. $35, plus shipping. PayPal add $1.50.

Just got the plane in the mail (fast)and it was wrapped extremely well !!!
What a nice plane, a little bit O' lapping and I was shaving my legs with it After buying some paperweights off of ebay I am very pleased I found SMC and sellers like John. Looks like Lie Nielsen might have to wait a few more years. Once again, Thanks John. Eric
