Little Birdie

Saw this on Woodturning Workshop last Saturday and thought I'd give it a try. It is made from Walnut with a Yellow Heart beak. It is a bit smaller than the one made on the show. There is no finish on it, just sanded.

Thanks, not sure what finish to put on it yet. Funny thing; when I showed it to my Granddaughter and then my Great Niece the following day, the first thing they both said was "where's it's eyes?".
