Once in a lifetime event

This Wednesday, April 5, at exactly 1 AM, 2 minutes and 3 seconds, the date willl be 1/2/3/4/5/6. This exact sequence will not occur again for 100 years.

Next year the sequence will be 2/3/4/5/6/7, 2AM, 3 minutes, 4 seconds, on May 6 of 2007.

Hey, Ken, would that be the next one is May 07? Or am I looking at it wrong? Jim.

By golly Jim, you are correct. It looks like the 6 digit sequence just moves along month by month. Check me, but looks like this will work until/including the month is December (12).

Yep, I like the day/month/year sequence, but being brought up the other way and that others wouldn't understand, I'll stick with the mdy method.

Ian, some one had a quote on their signature by General Patton, 'if everybody is thinking the same, someone isn't thinking.' What would it be like if we were all the same.

And you guys have to wait an extra month for your "Special Day".

But at least Ken has given me sufficient warning so that I can prepare for it!

I thought I was bad, being mildly amused by delivering the code to my client on 4/5/6...

Gary,
If you are sensitive to or concerned about numerical associations, do not move to the eastern edge of Arizona.

(loud whoosh as joke goes over my head)

Got a feeling this is going to hurt when you explain it to me...

Lee, I think it's possible that Frank is referring to AZ's non-adherence to DST. Those who are close to a border in a non-DST state and my work in the state next door can have some confusing times.

My head's still spinning a little from going on DST for the first time in...let me think here...25 years!! (Born in MI, then lived in Taiwan, IN, Brazil, then IN again).

You were about 99 years, 364 days and 12 hours off on your century mark. Occurs agains at 1:02:03 p.m. today, at least according to the timekeepers at the Indianapolis Star.

Indiana has such a struggle to figure out the time, I'll let you folks from out of state double check that. BTW, the dreaded switch to DST was another Y2K yawner. (Indiana hadn't used DST for 30 years.)

Well we could make it happen every day if we wanted to fiddle with the clock and calander. And we could too. After all, they are human numerical inventions.
