pricing wood "poker" chips

Any ideas on what should be charged for 1/4" thick poker chip sized circle with logo lasered? One side. About 100. Probably pre-finished wood (Lazer Bits).

Not sure what your costs are. Try the 2-3 times materials and $1 per minute laser time, plus whatever time you spend prep and post work (shop rates are quite varied). Basically, always figure out your bottom line and go up from there. It's hard to do, but you can't make money by selling for less than what you're spending.

Would you be able to laser the thinner wooden nickel disks? Probably cheaper than Laserbits if the people like the size, plus you just have to make a template to engrave and not laser cut each one.

I agree with the 3x material plus $1/minute. Why not use basswood, it really doesn't need to be finished, maybe just a spray of clear, but it engraves and cuts fast.

Wooden nickel has a 2" diameter blank for about $0.17 each. I think that is the size of a poker chip.
