Question Pricing a recognition award job?

Hello fine SMCrs,

I need to quote a job for 100+ standing recognition awards etched on glass 5x7 inches. (I have some flexiblity on size)

What would you charge?

Good place for inexpensive glass blanks?

Any other thoughts...

Daniel

Daniel - I like Marck's flat glass pieces. You'll have to get the stand for them (extra quarter each) but I charge around $12 each for them with stand. They take a few minutes to etch and usually cost a couple $$. So you can make a nice profit and/or give a good reduction in price for the large quantity without giving up too much money.

Are they all the same? Or do you have to change names on each?

Thanks Steven...Where do you get Marck's flat glass pieces?
That sounds about right for what I am doing.

I can make a nice base from stone or wood. I believe each will have a different name but I will make up the files and place the blanks on my 4' x 8' so I should be able to do them all in one shot

Here is a shot of the glass from their catalog. I don't have their website onhand or the catalog, this is an image I saved a while back for future reference.

The company is call Marck & Associates Inc and they sell general to specialized glassware. I'm still trying to dig up their contact information.

Edit...

Found them up in the Suppliers Links:
