Pens from Nebraska

Hopefully, here's a picture of 50 pens that have been turned by the following members of Nebraska's I-80 Woodturners Guild:

Charlie Augustyn
Travis Nelson
Rick Prevett
Tom Zieg

More to come!

Awesome contribution, Rick! Looks to be a nice variety of styles, too. Hats off to you and your fellow Guild members! Way to go!!!

I'll admit to that one, Daniel, and it probably was pen 19 or 20

Well Rick I have to admit the only way I usually end up with a pen like that is when the gouge took an unententional bite. If I try it on pourpose I end up taking the wood down to the Brass. I'm to Bushing dependent.
Keep up the good work.

Nice bunch of pens. Where in Nebraska is the group? I-80 is a long road. I know because we drive it back to Omaha from Colorado every year. Sometimes twice. I was a founding member of the Omaha Woodworkers Guild.

John, we're based in Lincoln. When we started up the group last year, many of our members were from the smaller towns that dot the interstate, but were within driving distance. Actually, some of our best turners come from these small towns, and we're glad they make the trip.
