Middle School Activities

Thanks to Dave Bonde who has his students at River Bend Middle School in Iowa Falls, Iowa making pens for the program. He has informed me they will have 50 pens ready to ship this week. He sent me a photo of 4 of his students which shows all the blanks they prepped (50) and a few completed pens.

Dave is working on getting a release from the parents so we can publish the photo.

This is really a great human interest story and should motivate other turners to join in.

I am sending Dave 50 more sets of parts this week using the donation bucket I have.
