Another Club Joins The Fray

I received the following e-mail this morning:

Hi,
My name is Sam Scalzo. I am a Past President of Desert Woodcrafters Club here in Tucson. We had our monthly meeting yesterday and I told the club about your pen project.

The club voted to send Two Hundred pens to your project. We will begin making them as soon as possible. I will get them to you as soon as we finish them. This is a great idea and I will present it to the Phoenix club when I go up there later this month. Hope they will get involved too.

Sincerely,
Sam Scalzo

Welcome to the Desert Woodcrafters Club.

Ken,

I got an email last night from the Pike's Peak Woodturners organization and they are going to help us with the Freedom Pens Project also.

The Colorado Woodworkers Guild has bought 100 slimlines and is going to put on a Turn-A-Thon at Rocklers in Denver on April 24th during their annual belt sander races.
