Another Club Joins The Fray
I received the following e-mail this morning:
Hi, My name is Sam Scalzo. I am a Past President of Desert Woodcrafters Club here in Tucson. We had our monthly meeting yesterday and I told the club about your pen project. The club voted to send Two Hundred pens to your project. We will begin making them as soon as possible. I will get them to you as soon as we finish them. This is a great idea and I will present it to the Phoenix club when I go up there later this month. Hope they will get involved too. Sincerely, Sam Scalzo Welcome to the Desert Woodcrafters Club.

Ken,
I got an email last night from the Pike's Peak Woodturners organization and they are going to help us with the Freedom Pens Project also. Jackie |

The Colorado Woodworkers Guild has bought 100 slimlines and is going to put on a Turn-A-Thon at Rocklers in Denver on April 24th during their annual belt sander races.
