Bought 4 led tubes at Menards last Sunday, to attempt to switch my troffer lights to led, and the old guy on duty of course recommended a 2 pack, that when I got home were the wrong ones. Luckily the box had a phone #, which I called and got a guy at the company who told me what bulbs to buy that would eliminate the ballasts in my lights. That is the key, as I wish to get rid of the ballasts in my 22 lights so I can put another layer of insulation in my shop attic. Anyway, returned the bulbs and picked up 4 of the proper bulbs, and installed them earlier today, and they actually worked! The brand is GT-Lite, and the paper in the package had the right instructions. I used the directions for "shunted" which you connect the black wire to one end of the bulbs, with just one wire, and the white wire to the other end, with just one wire. I pulled the extra wires from the tombstones rather than wire nut them.
