    Old Craftsman 6'' buffer

I have this buffer and need an adhesive backed hook & loop pad to stick to the 6'' disc. The disc does not come off, as far as I can tell. I wish to attach hook and loop buffing pads so as to make things less troubling.
I have searched the Web but the product info is not clear to me if it will stick to the buffer with so I can apply and remove the mating buffing pad.

This should do the trick. Peel and stick "hook" is also available in 6 inch rolls. If you prime the disc with contact cement and let it dry throughly the PSA will bond almost permanently. Lacquer thinner or heat will help with removing the PSA when the time comes.

That looks like what I need.
    Thank you.
