David, I lost your message and had to go looking for it. I have not started on the solar work for my small barn, I enclosed the front porch on my house and made a Sun room out of it so I will have to wait until some more money comes my way before the Solar work starts. My plans were to pretty much copy the Mother Earth Magazines solar shop concept. Hope I answered you question. Before I start on a project I research it to death and sometimes the projects never get started. DG Baker
David, Hi, wondered what you have done with solar air heating? I was reviewing old posts realted to solar, you are the only one that waranted asking. You actually mentioned plans for this. My plan is to build a 12-14" tall glass box, and put 2 to 3 inch pipe inside, painted black, will use a box with a fan upstairs, and push air thru the pipes, and out at the floor downstairs. It won't be a huge amount of BTU's, but it will be almost free.
