Hello Brian, I just read you response post. I am sorry I do not have the pic of the sample board and I have since plained it down. I will however be making more samples as I plan to finish this maple media sideboard this week. I had great luck with transtint dye red mahogany on my sample boards. I mixed dye in 1/2 denatured alcohol and 1/2 water. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks, Jerry
