David, Someone suggested I contact you. I was looking for feedback on Grizzly's lathes. I've been very happy with my Grizzly equipment, but I've heard in several spots that "Grizzly does some great stuff, but lathes isn't one of them". Essentially, they claimed that Grizzly doesn't really understand what turners want/need and produces unsuitable machines. Basically, my wife's birthday is coming up and she's always been interested in turning, especially bowls. So I'd like to get her a lathe that she'll be able to learn on, produce quality work without fighting the machine, and not outgrow quickly. I'd appreciate any advice you can give. Cliff
