  1. Hey sorry its taken me so long to get back with you, truth is Im not on Sawmill Creek much these days. As far as the segmented bowl goes I would highly recommend Macolm Tibbets book on segmented wood turning. Its a great value at twice the price and can tell you what you need to know. In a nutshell I glued up several "rings" of 8 segments each, then stacked and glued the rings together to make the blank. Its a process in of itself but something that can be taught easily.

  2. Hello, hope you don't mind me contacting you, but I was interested in the WingedSegBowl1. I want to do something similar with a Tigerwood, or a curly hard maple. I can't really get a single piece of wood the size I want, so I was going to try and basically glue pieces together to get the size I wanted. How did you go about doing your assembly of the wood for the bowl?
