Boy did you ever set off a firestorm with your diagonals thread! I've wondered the same thing for a long time about how accurate do you need to be. I finally came to my own conclusion that if you're within 1/32 to 1/16 over a 36" to 48" diagonal, that's pretty darned good and it's going to give you good results. I'm curious how long this post will go on!
