You had replied to a thread in January in which you said: "I have purchased a 12" jointer head (still not here) and I plan on trying to make a 12" jointer. I expect it to be a miserable failure! It has been over a couple of weeks and the jointer head is still stuck in transit. Of course, Mercury is entering retrograde, so" I'm curious if you built it and if so, how it worked out. Also what jointer head you purchased. I've seen Mathias's plans and it is tempting since I live where we only have air freight or barge so freight is very expensive. (buck a pound is a great deal). So curious to hear about your project.. maybe you documented it somewhere? thx, Jim
