  1. Thanks for the heads up Scott, I have some friends in Mtn Home Id. that have some from when we logged the Owhyee Mtns back in the 80's.It is pretty hard stuff .... I doubt the Shoshone Indians may have used it anyway as it was so hard to work with. The Zuni ... turns out to be North Carolina Cherokee ..... I got some wrong info from her friend and now can use oak.Sooo that one's solved.
  2. hi paul , you asked about zuni wood? where are they from? reed gray ( robohippy from eugene or) has moutain mahogany from high moutains out of losvagas nv, which was pretty common thru the western moutains.
