I have the opportunity to buy a Freud TT-108 turning tool set. When I started researching it, I found out that a TT-108 was almost impossible to find for sale - or that had sold, with a price. Freud seems to have discontinued many, if not all of their chrome-vanadium chisels about 5-6 years ago, but if they showing up on tool seller sites or ebay, they are marked as out-of-stock. Do you know what happened to them? Freud seems to like (or liked) chrome -vanadium and Sorby likes HSS. I the forums, it looks like you bought a set within 30 minutes of it being listed - yesterday.
