Has anyone found or made a Mobile Base for their new G0766 yet? I am definitely going to be needing something similar to the Lift-Rock-&-Roll type system. Does the foot config match PM3520B? or Jet JWL-1642? Please let me know soon. Thanks.

I do not know if the holes in the Lift-Rock-& Roll base are the same as are on the Go766, but I do not see why the holes could not be drilled in it to match those on the 0766? I think the leg base is wider on the 3520b, so you might have an inch or two overhang of the rolling base, but it should still work, if my thinking is correct on this Mark.

Thanks, Roger. I am going to have to fabricate a system, and when I do, maybe Grizzly will buy my design:-) My new address will be receiving the new lathe late next week, or early week after, and I've got a ton of work to do to prepare for the new arrival. Sort of like painting a nursery for the baby coming home from the hospital. I am excited for sure.

I have the mobile base clone designed, but my laptop required a BIOS flash. And, of course, it crashed during the flash, leaving the Motherboard bricked. A new Mobo is in the mail, and should be here Tuesday, along with a tube of Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. I should have a rendering posted soon for the base.

Awesome, I can't wait to see this. I have been keeping an eye out for something also.

Just a quick note: I did measure the base at Woodcraft of the Jet JWL-1642, and the leveling feet are only about 1/2" wider than the Grizzly G0766, so the Lift Lock N Roll mobile base for it would work with minor adjustments to the slots. But I have estimated less than $120 for all of the materials (new from steel supply house) or less if I can find stuff on Craigslist, so I will fab my own. The laptop Mobo is fixed and running and the drawings are intact. I just have to add the lever handle, and detail out the pieces to get a good material cut list. I'll post a rendering soon.

Me too. I have not even turned a single stick on the new lathe. I've been so busy with the HDL to even think of time for fun. I did make a clear pathway now around it, but it'll be Wednesday or so before I can fire it up. I locate L4x4x1/4 x 10' long for $30 a stick, so that will save some $$. I am going to use 4 4" diameter swivel casters from a moving dolly for the wheels. I already have about 8' of 1/2 CRS bar for the shafts and pivots. I can use a hacsaw and the Shopsmith to whittle everything down to size.
