Just wondering how many of the group still have good enthusiasm for wood turning these days? Has yours stayed on a pretty high level, or have you lost yours for the most part? Mine is still high, even though I’ve had some setbacks in my health. My investment in my lathes and turning equipment is substantial, and I don’t plan to let that investment not pay off in the long haul!

That is encouraging Roger! Can those who are just fans of Grizzly lathes join this group? I do not have one yet. I am very enthused. I have some projects that should help me follow through with my long delayed trip to Springfield MO to pick up a Green Monster.
    Projects include:

My first commission for a real banjo,

    Christmas Drumsticks,

    Miniature Rain Barrels,
The rain barrels are for Dads effort to make copies of the Mahogany pump light he made in Jr. High school manual training class. He needs at least 19. One for each of his grand kids plus a few to try and sell. He is back in his shop after a long battle with 3 kinds of cancer and 2 episodes of very poor health. He is borrowing my little antique toy lathe. It is the one my Father In Law bought when he was a teenager. It's time for me to get a real one.
