Hi Jay, Yes, hubby is doing better. I have used the saw and at this point, I just can't say enough good stuff about it. Putting it togeather was fun, and I usually don't like that! I bought one cast iron top and put a benchdog on the right. The upgraded fence is necessary I believe and the mobile base is a joy. Every part of this saw is top notch, from the instructions to the nuts and bolts to the customer service. I was on the fence about it, due to the cost but I am so glad I did it. I had an older Powermatic 64a and I enjoyed that but this is so much better. Putting the motor on and off is a breeze compared to any other contractors saw I have used. It will take two if not three to get the saw on the base! Be careful of the dust shroud when putting it on. Instructions are marvelous and they cover every detail! Okay, I will shut up-go for it!! Thanks, Kerry
Hi Kerry, hope you husband is doing well. Saw your post about the Sawstop, have you had a chance to use it yet? Impressions? I am thinking of ordering one very soon but still looking for hands on opinions Thanks Jay
