  1. Understand the situation. As far as keeping you in mind, I have just come in from the shop and using the steady rest. Made a long stemmed goblet. Don't know if you have ever seen Sturat Batty at work or not, but he does a long stem with kiln dried hardwood.
Mine is turned out of green pecan, so it will warp. And being a jr. turner I didn't get the stem as thin as Sturat does. But then again he grew up in England, worked as an apprentice in a production shop.
Anyway, we are having an open shop at the club tomorow, I'll have it with me and your email as well.
    What are the prices?

Glen, I am still making them, but on a smaller basis. They started taking over my life and I was not getting the other things done that needed attention. You can have people contact me on my other e-mail or still at the Woodennicol one. My regular e-mail is: fish1234@charter.net and the other is: jeff@woodennicol.com I was making 12 to 20 a month and that was killing me! All I need is 4-5 a month and that is better. I do have a 20" complete right now just waiting for someone to give it a loving home. I sold 2 of them to a local guy yesterday. He ordered one each for his PM3520B and a 20" Rikon that he has. He ordered some hollowing tools yesterday also after I gave him the personal demonstration. Thanks for keeping me laghing and up to date with all the jokes and info you have been sending me!

Thanks again for keeping me in your mind,

    Jeff
