I must saw different wood, there is no pitch or resin buildup with furniture grade species that I use. I also saw slowly enough that the gullets are fine at carrying the dust away and no clogging.

Technically, the only thing that should be touching the wood is the cutting edge. How does that need lubricant? Doesn't that disappear in the few inch of wood or so? Sawmills can use something to...
Just send him money and have him buy local. Shipping is really expensive!
Im guessing you can buy a much newer machine for what that motor fix is going to cost you. A 42 year old Taiwanese motor is going a real problem!!! You will have to find what factory that actually...
Two seater at two different heights for the wide range of grades and child sizes. There are trenches out the back for clean out, these were never moved. Also a second one for the boys.
Looks like I am wrong. Appears to have a bevel on the inside based on windows in this restoration, but very hard to see. Very slim rails and stiles!...
I'm sorry, I don't recall. This is a nice drawing of old window construction, but not shaker. https://thecraftsmanblog.com/all-about-historic-windows/

The Shakers would not have decorated sash though. Bridal joints, or draw bore mortise and through tenon. The Historical Society I belong to owns a one room country schoolhouse. Still has the original...
Whatever you want to justify is fine, I would have to do an inlay in my shop, or not buy them in the first place. If the supplier was as good as suggested, a wide mouth should be mentioned in the...
How you tell they are backed out from that angle is beyond me. You really think he backed them out after showing the curls? The only showed a tapered curl, and one plane shows an angled iron. The...
Hopefully the wheel has not spun on the bushing and galled the surfaces. Start with penetrating oil or a mixture of transmission fluid and acetone. You might try a few taps with a dead blow mallet...
Incredibly wide mouth on those two planes. Many craftsman would want to add an inlay to bring those up to high quality.
ALL resin is expensive!!!! If done incorrectly, it really get's expensive when you have to do it over. If no one has done it in that shop, make sure he does a practice piece. It'll be heart breaking...
5" wide is going to show some kind of crack over the years. That flat sawn wood is going to shrink next winter and this will be the result. Quarter sawn is a much better choice.

What was your logic to not glue the floating tenon? Would you do the same test with a traditional mortise and tenon and not glue them? Joinery with no glue just defies logic.
What does the $225 piece of aluminum provide that a straight 1x2 can not give you? Especially when you use it like a story stick like Cliff does. It's hard to beat the accuracy of a knife or sharp...
Asian woodworkers work on a beam and two sawhorses, or less. https://covingtonandsons.com/2020/08/19/the-japanese-floor-workbench-atedai-%E5%BD%93%E3%81%A6%E5%8F%B0-by-dominic-campbell-part-2/
It takes a special personality to do this work for a profession. For me, I knew a few years in that I was a lot better craftsman than businessman. I closed my business after 8 years before going back...
Using a tape measure has always worked for me, especially considering that costs $225
Plumbing flanges
It was a preemptive strike, not helping him sell his gospel. 10 posts and no mention yet.
I tend not to trust sites with half dressed women on it. I made a mistake clicking on it. I'll likely get a 1000% increase in Etsy spam now. Personally I would not buy that style of saw anyway.
Cheap and resaw should not go in the same sentence. Resawing is the most difficult operation on a bandsaw and you need a good machine to do it.
Can we start a lottery to see how many posts before the name Snodgrass comes up?
The powder post beetle holes trump the pith when it comes to concern.
