Made some pens with the corian at the top and where it got thin sometimes the corian tore away. Put a piece of pick guard on to fill the void. Probably ok as a center band when it doesn't get too...
We now have over 100 pens made and have found a guy that does laser engraving that will do all our pens for free.

I have used both ca glue and epoxy. Had a couple of the epoxied parts come apart so maybe was clamped to tight. No problems with the ca. Have a fountain pen made with two pieces glued together length...
You can cast polyester resin in about any color.

I agree with Craft Supplies and Berea. Go for the upgraded finishes like titanium nitrite for a longer lasting finish. the 24 K finishes wear off very quickly.
