Actually, I've only been turning for around 3-4 yrs, since I only started when I was 11. I am 15 yrs old now.
Here is a picture of the hollow Form. It actually has *no* base - it rounds off...

WOW! Huge amount of blanks there!! :eek: Do you mean to tell me, they are just one months amount of bowl blanks?!?! Some nice looking timbers there
I can turn them, the only mishap I come accross, is when sanding the *wings*...when sanding, the sandpaper tends to take out the wing shape.
I will try another one, and see if I can post it
Would we be able to see the underside of that piece?
I have found, that with a skew, parting tool, and spindle gouge, you can turn anything small. I would say to go and get a bowl gouge. With that, you can do a lot. I use my bowl gouge for 90% of...
I've done a few square bowls, for galleries etc: They seem to go down well...
That piece there, is a stunner! Nice size too!

Wowza! That's quite a score! Be sure to turn most of it all green. And don't leave them long enough for the Contractor to decide he's seen enough of them being an eyesore!

Very nice piece, with some very nice grain. Great finish too! The only thing I can see that might look better, is for the shoulder to be a little more rounded off....looks a little sharp from here.

Hey, nice idea....I bet you had a few touchy moments with the slimline, and I really like the acrylics...not sure about the corn cob one though JMHO....probably because I've had too many bad...
Wow, now this one caught my attention....the profile, is just perfect! A pic of the burnt foot would be nice. The finish is perfect. Overall, really, very nice.
