Quick question ... just from the end grain in that picture or my bench, can anybody verify if that wood is...

Thanks for the info ... the 5/4 stock I got is actually a little over 1 1/4" thick rough ... it's all in good shape so I should be able to get away with getting it down to 1 1/8" or so after...

Terry, yup, got the waterbed plans, thanks! Got the lumber, ended up getting 5/4 for the sides instead of 8/4 ... i'm hoping 5/4 will hold well enough, would think so...
