Are you certain that you have about 120v at the motor? Verify the proper voltage under load.
If the voltage is fine, I would UNPLUG THE SAW, and open the end of the motor to look at the...
What does Hi-ATB mean? Is that an ATB blade with a high tooth count?

Another vote for the nitrile gloves. Get them when they are on sale at Harbor Freight. 1 box will last a long time. I am able to reuse the gloves several times. You'll never go back to latex.

IE7 is decent, especially the ability to get the entire width of a web page to print on a regular sheet of paper. Tabs are OK, but nothing special IMHO.
One thing I dislike about IE is that the...
Deck,
The 2 best ways to find places nearby (in the Midwest, nearby might mean within 1-2 hour drive) is to look on www.woodfinder.com, or go to the Yahoo yellow pages and search for lumber.

Looks good, reminds me that we need to expand our deck for the same use you did - need more cooking area! We're up to 3 grills, plus storage for accessories.
If that's a recent picture, I also...
I took my new DeWalt DW3232 for a spin. Of course since it's new I expect it to cut well, but I can say that I have never had a miter saw blade this nice. It has a -5 deg angle and large full kerf...
Thanks for the feedback. I actually already purchased it, just haven't opened it yet. The blade looks as stout as the Freud on my TS.
I'm really not even looking for a bargain. I'm willing to...
Any experience with DeWalt's Precision Trim miter saw blades?

I'm in quick need of a replacement blade for my...
I have the Porter Cable BN200A that shoots up to 2" 18g brads. It's an excellent performer, and top rated in reviews. It easily sinks 2" brads into solid oak, even below maximum air pressure to the...
I just received the K3 from Amazon last week. I will need it for part of a large project that I am doing right now. The R3 would have been sufficient, but I like how the K3 can work with a variety of...
Pretty sure you meant Woodsmith Store, and yes the store is worth visiting. Very nice store.
Thanks, Tim
Is this show worth a 3 hour drive? Any good presenters worth seeing? Seems like I've read in the past that these shows are becoming less of a draw. Sounds cool though if the displays are good and...
Joe,
My Deere TRS 21 single stage 2 cycle has served me well with Iowa winters for about 10 years now.
I researched at the time, and remember that a decent single stage moves as much or more...
I need to replace the stock blade on my DeWalt 705 miter saw. The blade that came with it gave OK service, nothing special though - DW3126, 60t thin kerf blade.
I see that Home Depot has a...
Bulb life is easily 5000+ hours. Not sure about that price either. My Sony's replacement bulb is just under $200, and is user changeable. There's an access door on the back, bulb just unplugs.
HDTV - High Definition TV. This is the good stuff - high quality, widescreen.
EDTV - Extended Definition TV - Not worth much. Just standard resolution tv that is digital rather than analog.

In comparing LCD vs. plasma, I assume you are referring to a flat panel LCD rather than a projection LCD.
In the plasma vs. LCD comparison:
1. Size - the largest LCD flat panel I have seen so...
Frank,
Tough break on the tranny - always my biggest worry about car maintenance. I do almost all of my own repairs, but there's not much to do with auto trannies.
I had one good experience...
WiMax is a wide area wireless network protocol. It is up to a business or a community to implement in the same way that a cable system is implemented in a community.
My experience is just with a...
Roy,
I've done dozens of brake jobs over the years. Just average cars and minivans, nothing bigger.
1. Bleeding - the hand held vac pumps for about $25 work very well. But if you don't open...
Mark,
Can you explain the motor rebuild? New bearings, capacitor, ...?

I have one with XP Pro, 2 with regular XP. I keep all 3 of them updated with any updates that Microsoft issues. No problems.
What kind of issue are you having?

I'm sure that it has nothing to do with the voc's, but rather the coverage and penetration like Scott just mentioned.
Like Scott hints at :D, it is a lot of manual labor, at least for those of us...
