Well this morning it is sitting down better, may have to give it a day or two to make a final decision on weather to secure it or not.
Really like the idea of brass or nylon to secure it, don't...
Hello,
Made a simple workbench for my hobby room and have a question about securing the top surface.
It is two layers of 1" thick MDF with an oak boarder to keep the top (masonite) from...
Careful with the Reid order,
I ordered a couple at $6.30 ea, when I went to the checkout they where $63.00 ea. Just caught it just before I pulled the trigger.

Just imagine if a squirrel or ?? crawled up that pipe and was relaxing when the cyclone got turned on..............................
Keep an eye on Craigslist, I found a 80gal 2 stage monster for $200 in near new condition. Will have another $200.00 in piping and wiring by the time I am done, but very happy.
12-2 wire will melt with a 30amp breaker, bet you will need to replace it with a 10gauge wire
Thought I would post a follow up with my solution.

EMT, More durable, not much harder to work with.
Hadn't thought about it, but I do like the look of emt over pvc.
Metal boxes for the emt, any big box store will have what you need.
Got the wiring ran for my compressor and Dust collector. Ran both lines through a contactor setup with a wireless remote for the DC, just a wall switch for the Air Compressor.
Now I need to run...
I hang my 3 ladders off the back of the garage (outside). Used shelf brackets, have had no problems.
+1 on the bike hooks in the ceiling if you want to keep them inside.
I am in, Thanks for the great give away
lots of $$ for sure.
Shop made copy works as well, just not as pretty
Dick,
It's on a pallet now and it's a pain. The pallet is much bigger than the compressor and I hope to tuck in a corner of a building and if the pallet was still attached it would take up twice...
I would like to get in line if possible
+1, Sounds like your problem is solved. I agree that the Felder is using a RPC and they can run more than one machine.
Not a screaming deal, but I would wait for an 8" to pop up. I have seen Powermatics and Delta DJ-20s go in the $500 range
Just got back from the local Hydraulic shop with a line to run from the tank to the distribution plumbing.
Going to go and servey my "estate" and see what I can find in Horse Stall Mat. Going...
