Perhaps something more like a Stanley #358, #360, or #460 may be closer to what Darcy is referencing?
(Nothing against Millers Falls, but I just don't know them)
I can understand how something...
Hand raised here!
I've always admired the pictures of that tool chest.
Thanks for the post as I haven't seen it in a while.

As others said, once the set screw is out, it should come off with a gear puller (pulling on the hub).
Seems to me mine took a little force to get started but popped off without too much trouble....
Nicely done!
Thanks for sharing.

I do this - BUT, I choose boots that have 'speed laces' at the top - no untying needed; they slip off & on. The 'speed' is a hook rather than a hole for the lace to go around instead of through....
My brother has had the Rigid for a couple of years and likes it. It would certainly be on my short list for best value as a hobbyist.

I did essentially this - HF "2HP" DC blower, Rikon replacement impeller, Oneida SDD cyclone - blower directly above SDD with 6" takeoff from blower directly into SDD..
It's similar to this but wit...
..that I wouldn't mind having either Jim! ;-)

Thanks for sharing! Cool stuff!

I have successfully used these on a less expensive smaller saw. The finish wasn't perfect, but for the Arrow of Light awards I was making for the Cub Scouts, it worked very well for tight corners, In...
Thanks for the pictures Rod!

Steve,
Thanks for the earlier reply.
Rod,
I too would be interested in anything you can share about the "stair climbing thing" :)
Thanks,

Not to hijack - has anyone gotten the 79x48 K3 into a basement/ Can the slider be removed for such a move and reattached without "too" much fuss?
Looking hard at a new TS and the K3 indeed looks...
Nice job! I hope you enjoy using it!!

Hi Julie,
Another +1 for Wynn.
I *just* got my most recent and now have 4 of their filters.
My Pentz cyclone has a pair of the...

I was able to get mine off by using a helper to hold the grinder with the shaft lock button pushed in while I used a strap wrench on the cup wheel - near the top. It worked perfectly in my case....
Hi Filip,
Although I have not yet tried them, I understand carbide cutters designed for cutting aluminum work well for wood.
Good luck!

Hi Brian and Welcome!
Did you perhaps mean a bigger bandsaw to RESAW rather than RESALE?
Assuming that's what you meant, I suggest you dismiss any of the 14" or 15" saws from your list. i would...
Hi, my dad made a base similar to this:

Yes, after taking it outside first. Another reason for the floor versus ceiling.
Years ago, I made a PT fence and dipped the pickets in stain. We used two flower boxes with one end cut out and caulked/screwed together for the trough. We nailed up the wet 1x6 & 1x4 pickets w/...
Mark,
Thought about it for a while but decided against it for a few reasons...
Gravity works great and the blower merely sits/seals on the foam flange of the Wynn filter and the 8" elbow sits...
I made a filter similar to Bill's in post #8, though haven't wired in a switch. I used a Wynn 9L300NANOEXT (though, I meant to order a filter closed one end...doh!) and a Hurricane 745CFM #736580 8"...
