John if I am reading you right you are saying the infeed table is higher on the side away from the fence, if that is true I would check the infeed compared to the outfeed before I adjusted anything. ...
Brian not sure about the wiring, but If you get the grizzly switch be aware the case cover screws are plastic and you must be easy on them or they will break.

I built a blanket chest a few months back and lined it with cedar, the kind you get at lowes for closets and such. I finished the cherry with BLO and then about 4 to 5 coats general clear oil finish....

If it's big enough I use a band clamp but depending on the size and shape I also use tape probably more than I use the band clamps.

glad it helped I know when mine was out I didn't even want to use it because it was so aggravating but when It was fixed I couldn't wait to get out in the shop and start jointing boards.
