A Watt is a Watt is a Watt. Doesn't matter how it's getting to the motor 220/120.... I will say I agree with him to the degree that say you have a motor drawing 15A at 120v. That same motor wired...
If you're looking for actual router bits, not shaper heads....you'll want ones like the bottom two sets on this page. They have the nailing slot that everyone has mentioned....

That looks like it!! Link saved.
Thank you sir!!
So a hinge on our Lazy Susan corner cabinet broke the other night. Noone in town has the same thing.
Is there an online site that has an extensive hinge database? I have been searching for...
I forgot to mention coloring. LOL Nothing drives me nuts more than walking into a home where somone has put 5100K curly-q bulbs in their living room lamps. I have a few of the 2700K bulbs in the...
My problem as well!! Like I said, I might just do the reballasting thing since I can get quality lamps and ballasts for about $20 per 2bulb T8 fixture. Then its just the time to do it.
Now if...
I just clicked on the link you referenced....are these used with a white reflector or their metallic reflector. Because that would make a big difference. All the IBeam hbays that I've installed were...
I agree with what Greg has pointed out completely. The Ibeam lights are really intended for warehouse industrial use. I believe its actually @15' - 40' is their effective range. I would definitley...
I have 9 of the 18v tools and love them all. The impact is my goto for everything I do. It's small lightweight (considering) and will drive dang near anything. Couldn't recommend it more. I will...
I finally got around to turning a piece of maple to try and replicate a trim piece off an antique walnit table I'm refinishing. Just need to set up a jig to do the bottom and back cuts to match the...
Oops. Typing faster than I was thinking. Been working around marble countertops all week at a home design center. LOL
I actually have a marble topped Ridgid that I really like. My comment was more a play on words I guess. Trying to add a bit of levity in a somewhat redundant argument.
I feel that if anyone...

Like this? These are great guys to work with. Located in Omaha and top notch guys!!
I use the carbide upcut bits for cutting out templates all the time. The down will definitely give you a smoother cut, but you need to be more careful with bogging the bit because you will be pushing...
Nothing wrong as long as you crosshatch the layers when laying it down. Also make sure you only have the vapor barrior on the first one. Next two layers need to be unfaced.
I have the Ridgid 13" and it has performed flawlessly for me. The dust collection actually works pretty good and the infed/outfeed tables are fairly large and can be set quite easlily.

Now I'm wondering how much I could get for my LS1013L!! $500.....free shipping!! Dang.

I bought my 1013L about 4 months before they came out with the 1016L. I wish I had waited. Just found this review and I didn't realise that you could do 12" with it. That would've come in handy...
Here was a review that I found awhile back....

Local code issue...... We can't do that here anymore. ALL runs have to include a grounding conductor.
Looks good! Esp since I don't have a topper anymore! Count me in and thanks for the donation.
I just picked up a Ridgid hybrid form the HD in Lincoln. It is the granite topped one and I believe they still have one left for $399!! I've used it for a couple weeks now and this thing is solid!!...
So you're the one!!! I called that add and he had just sold it!!
I couldn't believe it sold for that much!! How does it work? I'm in the Syracuse area from time and again.....might...
