Eric,
Chinese made laser machines are indeed available in Thailand. I had been looking into this myself as I will soon be moving there from UK and was deliberating selling my Rabbit Laser here and...
Ditto
Merry Christmas to you all.
Many thanks also to all you Creekers for all your help and support on this great forum.

Cool idea, Thanks for posting.
Don't know if this is going to help. When I import multiple page PDF files they come out in CorelDraw V12 as separate pages rather than layers, identified by the tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Hi Bruce,
I've not tried this but could you open your Phtograv's image with your photoshop and crop the image into a circle before importing into Corel.
Or maybe crop you image with the circle...
Hi Scott,
I have tried this on blued steel. It was actually on a blued air tube on an Air Arms PCP rifle. The guys are right, you can't get through the blueing to reveal the 'silver' but what I...
This forum, and you guys never cease to amaze me :D
Many thanks Dan for the image and Dave for the quick vector of that image.
Jus what I needed.
Many thanks
Dave.
Hi,
Don't know if any of you can help, I'm looking for a vector or other suitable image of a Ferrari to engrave on a black Granite tile.
Doesn't need to be very detailed as long as it's a...
Many thanks Niklas,
I'll try these for my daughter, she loves this sort of thing.
I'm with Dan here. I've tried all different ways and I have found now difference.
Here's one I did for a customer recently.
Probably of no use but it's all I could find:
You can get some aquarium filter pads made from a coarse foam that would make a good pre-filter. I've seen it in large squares but the link shows the type of thing I mean

Thanks for the link Scott. Very interesting and very quick.
I'm not sure how much advantage this speed is. Wouldn't there need to be a substantial increase in power to gain the benefit over a...
That s a really cool idea.
Thanks for sharing.
That's really nice, thanks for sharing.
....and me please.
Dave.
Rather than try to 'opem' the file have you tried the 'import' command and the PDF filter in the dropdown box?
I don't have X3 but thats what I do in V12.
Good tip Bill, Thank you.
I haven't taken delivery of them yet but I'll give them a go when they get here.
If they don't engrave so well all is not lost. I could still use them with colour...
Thanks for the reply Dave,
I guess I should have asked before committing to the plaques. I was hoping there would be a nice contrast after engraving.
Hi all,
It's a bit after the event but I've just done a deal for some ready made round, oval and octagonal 6" plaques made from Sycamore.
Could anyone with experience with this wood tell me if...
Dave,
I would have thought it would be no different than having a printer connected wirelessly to your network.
All you would need is a wireless router to plug your lasers network cable into. This...
Thanks for the comments guys.
I would really love to learn more of the theory on the optics. I was really surprised with the result. When I did the test I was sort of expecting the result to be...
Hi all,
Long story short. Out of interest I was looking at a dual focus lens and what they are all about and it struck me looking at the image that the lens appears to be inverted compared to my...
