+1. The medias seeming motto... "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!"
Neither really, The holding company was created by the group that bought Kmart out of bankruptcy and it(the holding company) then bought Sears. Sad deal anyway you figure it, though.
Disclaimer:...
Sears may not have them at your local store, but they do have them in stock. However at that price, you likely will want to look elsewhere anyway!

Have used a keyless chuck on my DP for years! Bought it from Grizzly. In some cases, a keyed chuck gives a better grip, but I haven't had an issue with up to 2 1/2 forstner bits. YMMV.
I have upgraded 6 different computers from win 7 pro to win 10. Pretty straight forward. A bit time consuming, though. For the most part I like win 10, and will not even be thinking about going back!
According to Merriam-Webster... "Definition of swarf. : material (as metallic particles and abrasive fragments) removed by a cutting or grinding tool." Hmm, wonder why they left woodworking out of...
No, the dirt does NOT go thru the motor! it does, however go thru the impeller and housing! Not a good thing, as the impeller, nor the housing is designed for that. Any large chunks(like bigger than...
I totally agree with you, and on small things the shipping can be the major part of the expense! That to me is a good way to lose a sale.
Just for the record, I may not be an "Antenna Engineer" but I do have a diploma in Broadcast Engineering, an Amateur Radio Extra Class license, and have held a 1st Class Commercial Radio license.

No, the yagi antenna is for the frequency it was designed for... UHF has shorter, closer spaced elements. Also many so called Yagi antennas, are not. They are log periodic antennas.

Not true. With digital, it is all or none. You either get a picture or you don't. It may pixilate if the signal is weak, but that just means at that instant you didn't get the picture info.

I had one of the Northgate keyboards, really liked it. It had the old 5 pin Din connector... won't fit anything I have now and the adapters are rather a pain.
Gotta admit that the newer ones are...
I have upgraded 6 windows 7 systems to win 10. Not going to go back to 7 on any of them. Quite happy with 10, and have had no unresolved issues! A bit of a learning curve, but no worse than any other...
Was anyway... I thinks in most, if not all cases at this time(the recall has been around for years) your only recourse is the $100 for return of the motor/carriage. With the model/serial numbers you...
Been several years since I shipped that way, but I'd say yes at least, don't recall anything going for less than around $60 total. At least the company I worked for was footing the bill.

As with a jointer, the outfeed fence should be at the outer edge of the cutter. the infeed fence should be back of bit edge by the desired depth of cut.
Set the outfeed fence out by the depth of...
I have Win 10 running on several computers. Have not had that problem(or really many at all) This one I am using has had win 10 for over a year(including pre-release). What are the specs of your...
I used to service the bt3000 saws once in a while. Was a good concept poorly implemented IMHO. Very little if anything on one that I would save. With most any decent after market fence system the...
I user Bitdefender free! I agree with Kev about McAfee, Norton, and AVG. I used AVG for years till it slowed my PC down to useless. Avast(free anyway) is just to annoying with pop-ups trying to get...
Do remember though, a 2HP 3PH VFD is rated 2 HP for the 3 phases combined, not for 2 HP on 1 phase. Just something to think about!
Don't think Sawstop has much influence over a third party supplier! Cliff, I agree with you, obsolescence is too common these days!
Thanks Russell. I have the Shopfox and really appreciate this info. By the way I like the lathe a lot. Have mine adjusted to go a little below 600RPM. Sometimes wish it would go a bit slower but it...
Just a thought off the top of my head, but... the app used to listen to the podcast or whatever would have to be compatible. Muting audio totally, probably fairly easy. Pausing another app, maybe not...
