Mark,
The DJ20 has been farmed out to the overseas plants as well. The base and motor are still made here, but the casting sticker on mine says Tiawon (sp).
Oh well, there's always the...
Dom,
I'm breaking my usual policy of not answering electrical questions. The switch on your bandsaw, if it came from the factory with the option of wiring the motor for either 120V or 240V, is a...
Only time I ever use particle board is as a substrate for laminate counter tops on low to mid level kitchens.
Sorry I can't be of more help,
Ron
John,
Go plastic.....I tired long ago with trying to find a metal square that was "square". I've been using plastic framing and quick squares for a few years now......always dead on 90 degrees.
...
Dennis,
I went through the same song and dance with a Jesada set of about that same date of manufacture. With the bits set up the way that they came from Jesada it was impossible to get the...
Bill,
Outstanding idea. Cheap, functional, and pretty tough. Should prevent the pens from being damaged. I'm going to pack all my pens in CPVC.
It could be another way for non-turners to...
Congrats Phil.........I hope you took Mary out to the good Mexican place.
Hope you have at least that many more yet to come,
Ron
How about the obvious solution? Make people register to be able to post. Most nicknames are single word blurbs...if there's an easy way in the software to verify that at least a 2 word "name" has...
Todd,
The Excalibur would fit your arrangement. It hooks onto the right end of your saw and comes off with one handle/screw.
Just something to look at,

As licensed electrician and holder of an MSEE....this is why I avoid, at all costs, threads like these.
The simplist answer to electrical questions on the internet is to involve a local...
Stearates are basically soap based lubricates to help keep sandpaper from loading up while sanding. Stearated paper works really well with solvent based finishes, but should be avoided when using...
Jason,
If it ain't broke, don't fix it......another sampling of the porter would suit my taste buds just fine.

Does anyone except Forrest make saw blades??
Make mine reservation #1. I had a great time last year and I'm planning to bring the family along this time.
For those who have never attended you are really missing out on a great time.
Ron
For those who don't realize it.....Kevin and I spend quite a bit of time in the chat room bantering back and forth and having a great time. I meant absolutely no harm in the comments in my previous...
Add one vote to the "be quiet" side of this debate. There were no negative cannotations implied by using Neanderthal......................none of those guys have knuckles that drag the ground, at...
Bart,
I've had both (still have the Woodsucker) and the cyclone is definitely louder. I always wear hearing protection when running stuff in the shop, but my guess would be that it's about 2 or 3...
I'm not normally a sentimental type, but my only resolution is to spoil my 2 girls (2 1/2 year old Valerie and #2 due in April) completely rotten. My shop time has became practically nonexistant...
Guilty as charged
Bill,
Those are the purdiest red X's I've ever seen!!! Seriously, the pics aren't a workin' here. Site troubles??
Ron
edit: Don't know what was goin on, but they're working just fine...
I run 3/8" from my compressor to my pot/gun setup. If you do this then you can use 1/4" lines for both your fluid and air lines from the cup to the gun.....much easier to handle with the thinner...
Joe,
It can't possibly flex as much as the Performax does. Only tool purchase that I've truly regretted. I've hated the 16/32 since the day I brought it home. Drum flexes something awful and...
Looks like Mike followed the GOOD advise!!!!
Ron
Tom....I always knew that there was something wrong with you.....now I know what it is....... :D
