Very nice work Thomas! I have found Dogwood to be one of my favorite woods to turn, so much so I end up Scavenging all of the downed limbs in the neighborhood ...alas most of the Dogwoods around here...

The only grain filler I have used was a water based product (white) recomended to me by the local Woodcraft, to be used on Oak. Was NOT happy with it and ended up sanding every thing back to bare...
