I always thought concrete was corrosive due to the ash.
Wonderful idea about embedding the steel, and the wooden frame underneath. Both give me ideas about finishing mine.

Thanks! I have a friend in the Boro that I've been meaning to go see. Were they on display or tucked away on a shelf somewhere?
I would have to wonder why the CS rep didn't just handle it right then and there, with you on the phone. Why the 24-48 hour wait for an email?
I just downloaded, and open it. No problems. 300+ pages. Thanks for the link, I've missed this before somehow.
Make sure you installed the cross brace at the top near the door. I left that out and had the exact same problem, had to take it back apart and installed it. No flex at all now.
Nice setup, interesting placement of your tablesaw.
Thanks, Robert.
I'm working on assemblying my router table (still) and have decided to use pieces of MDF attached to the sides of the table to serve as bit drawer runners, similar to Norm's router table. Will glue...
My guess would be the saw blade.
Yes, I've had the same problem before, for some reason FF has trouble with zip files for me on SMC. IE works just fine for it.
Tom,
That is Bill Endress' shop. I have a Word document that he emailed to me, I could forward it to you if you like. Very cool setup he has.
Maybe PEX-AL-PEX.
No, PEX is not rated for air.
No one chimed in to answer this. Does anyone that has the 1st addition DVD and a subscription to the website know if it is the same information? If it is, the DVD would be a much more convenient...
Is it the same stuff that is included on their website as a paid subscription? Anyone know?
I've been playing with this off and on for a few days now, and would like some other opinions, if you care to offer them.
I'm trying to find a way to raise the height of this router table to...
Do they sell to hobbyists, small orders? There is also Summers Lumber and Timber in La Vergne. Not sure if they have what you want or not though.
Thanks for all the input. Now I just need to devise a way to raise the overall height of the table and still use the panels I've already cut.
So while I am waiting on hardware for my router table so that I can assemble it, I started thinking that maybe I don't have the height issue worked out. I stand just a hair under 6' tall, and with my...
That's about the same price as you'll pay for a reconditioned unit from CPO Tools, after you include their shipping cost. Add to that the fact that it isn't available reconditioned right now from...
Anyone else having problems with Google Notebook and FF2.0? I just noticed today that it doesn't seem to work anymore.
EDIT:NVM - Fixed it. Seems Adblock Plus is conflicting.
Looks good. What's the opposition to windows? If no windows, maybe skylights?
I had planned on ordering the confirmat screws from McFeeley's online, just didn't want to wait any longer to get this carcass built. Guess I'll go ahead and order them and wait until they come in to...
I know that confirmat screws are preferred for MDF butt joints, but has anyone had success with drywall or sheetmetal screws with MDF? Confirmat screws are not available at the local Lowe's. I've...
Plenty of those, too...farmhouses and long driveways, that is.
